Time to get busy on the Golf course. What does it take to realize that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to start playing. Although Ecco shoes are expensive they are well worth it. You may just realize how lucky you are when you wear these shoes.

After you spend a lot of money on your golf shoes, there is a way you can save money on your game. Every day thousands of golfers lose golf balls on the course. Some on the first shot. These balls are practically brand new sometimes which makes Used Golf Balls a great way to save. Find out what makes it so worth while to start using a recycled golf ball. You will be surprised of the quality.

Here is a sweet look at the Ecco Men’s flexor.
The classic saddle shoe has a new look with some exciting features. Great coloring and a special leather feel. Take these babies out to the course and at the least look better than you playing partners.

Here is our first Ecco review of 2008. These rain proof men’s classic hydromax shoes are pretty sweet. They have a great shape and a nice texture in the leather. Very athletic feeling with a smooth insole. These are also very green friendly.

I crushed my playing partners the other day, which felt really good. I also almost had a hole in one on a 190 yard par 3 using my 5 iron. I stuck it within 16 inches. That felt good.

What are you supposed to do when you get the case of the shanks, willies, pickles? I was so frustrated the other day. It hurts. I’m looking to fix that issue right away.

I’m walking up to the 5th tee on my round last Saturday and I gently slap the driver on the ground, like I always do and the driver head snaps off in one piece. It was nuts. I had the marshal on the course get me a demo driver, which turned out great. It was a Nike Sasquatch and I was moving it an extra 20-40 yards. The only problem is, it felt like a brick and had no feel. Not my style, but it was nice to have something to play with. Now, I’m on the scope for a new driver. I may buy a used one to get me through the season and drop the big bucks later. We’ll see.

I finally had some monster drives giving me nice approach shots into greens. A lot of things were clicking yesterday including my putter. If I can stay out of trouble I should be able to break into the 80′s. The swing is definitely coming together a lot more than it did in May. Playing tomorrow, so I will keep you posted.

I followed up my low score with a 98 and a 101. Go figure. The course is playing pretty short with the lack of rain. I’m sure most courses are feeling the same problem. Since it is a new course, they have to keep everything wet or they may lose it by the end of the year. Signing off for now. Keep improving.

I shot my personal best at my home course with a 91. I was making some great shots and not making those dumb mistakes. I really felt good about my game and I hope to keep improving. I got some great free lessons the other day that I’m putting to use and it is paying off huge. I hope you guys are getting out there as well. Another 36 hole coming up, so stay tuned. Make sure to check out the ecco golf shoes.

A group of chose to play Twisted Dune this past weekend and I must say it was a very interesting course. Built on a landfill from the Borgota dredging project made me wonder where I was playing several times. Not the most beautiful surroundings, but the course was great. Plenty of different style holes and played very long with the wind.Â
 Twisted Dune Review – www.twisteddune.com
Overall it was a bit pricey, but for down near Atlantic City, what can you expect. The staff was pretty much rude all the way around except for the starting guys who placed our beer in buckets of ice. We had Marshals every where, which became really annoying. It also plays about 5hours and 30 minutes. The greens were in good shape and true. The sand was rock hard. The water looked like cesse pool water, but the course layout was really cool. I probably won’t play there again, but would say, it may be worth it if you played most of the other local courses. Have fun and hit them straight.

So my golf teacher tells me I should break 80 by the end of the year. I guess my confidence should be high. I’m playing tomorrow, so we shall see if I’m on that path.

Coming into the round I had total confidence. I was striking the ball really well and my short game was in tact. Of course this was on the range, so you know there is always the jinx. We played at a local public course. It was in pretty good shape about 6800 yards and the rough was gnarly costing me several strokes. My putting was decent when I made it on the green, but over all I was spraying the ball every where, but straight. My one birdie on a par 5 kept me wanting more, but it will have to wait until next time. I have to working better contact next time.
PS – I also lost $16 in side bets.

I don’t know what to say or how to feel at this point. All I know is that I played like total ass. Besides some hopes of glory, I would say about 85% of my shots were worthless. I will explain in more detail tomorrow.

It is amazing what fundamentals of the golf swing can do if you use them correctly. Here is a list of notes I took down immediately after the lesson.
Keep the thumbs in.
Make sure the right shoulder is square (Left Handed Remember)
Stick the butt out and lift my head
Straighten my grip handle
Shoot the club face out, so it is square
Rotate the weight from heel to heel
These golf lessons may look like cocktail napkin notes, but they have me going straight, and far. The shoulder was my number one issue. I was so open at address, there was no way for me to close the swing at impact. Now I can get around when the shoulder is square. Closing the door, with my weight shift and keep the head down are powerful ways to improve your swing immediately.

Let’s get one thing clear. I’m left handed, so if you are I welcome you with open arms. My tips will be for lefties, since we tend to slice more than righties. Close the right shoulder is key. Left Handed Golf Clubs are also a challenge, so I will do my best to show some online methods to get the right clubs for you.
